What's this about?
After 20 years of thinking about it, we decided to make aliyah (immigrate) to Israel from Vancouver BC. This is the tale of our ongoing journey, from the smoking car to the unexpected apartment, and beyond. How we're navigating the beaureaucracy of immigration, looking for jobs, making new friends, reconnecting with family, cursing the bus system - all in a different language! And reflecting on the constant moments of wonder, like our internet installation guy wearing a kippa and wishing us "Shabbat shalom," all of which reminds us why we moved here in the first place.
